Any user who has administrator privileges, or any non-administrator user that has permission to access the User module, can log into Crate Pro 6 and click on the NEW option at the top left of the screen to add a user.
In the pop up enter a unique user log in name for this user. Some companies prefer to enter the users position such as Sawyer or Assembler instead of a name or other identifier.
You'll get a temporary password you'll need to give the user with the log in name.
When they log in the first time they'll be asked to create a new password
> You may want to enter the users full name in First and Last name fields as additional identifiers
> Click on Privileges tab and select the permissions this user will have. You must select VIEW for both Projects and Designs if you want them to even be able to see those modules. Privileges can be modified at any time if you find they're too restrictive or too lenient.
> If you check the Admin box it will over-ride all other privilege settings, If you do not select the Admin check box you need to select a Role (or multiple roles) in the box on the upper right side of the page. The Roles determine which home screens the user has access to. Each home screen is unique except the Foreman home screen includes the home screens of all the Roles listed after.
