I am making some very unusual skids. I am using the PAL-010 and it is working ok. The program keeps suggesting that for the style I am making it should be PAL-029. However the styles only go to PAL-024. Am I missing some link or something where I cannot access the PAL-029?

That text should no longer be in CP6.
For Crate Pro 5 and the early builds of CP6, each base modification (plywood versus lumber // or 'skids only' versus 'skids and rub strips') had its own style template number. So for crates and pallets you had to use multiple style numbers to design the same crate/pallet but with different base materials and/or configurations.
Now the big number of pallet style templates no longer applies: Users to select a basic style template and in the initial steps of the design process, select the base type they preferred just by clicking their choice. There is one crate style template based on the cap construction with the ability to select any of multiple base options. This is the same for pallets so a lot of the style template numbers no longer exist because they're not necessary. With pallets you select the basic construction methodology, change the dims as you are (ignore the height field) and after the design is created you make changes as needed. Changes will reflect updated costing, labor times, quotes and other info based on your preferences.
