Disappearing projects in project summary

We can be working on a project and it disappears from the project summary list.

We have to get out of the software and get back in before all of our projects appear.

What are we doing wrong?

I might need more information to determine if this is a bug. Here's what may be happening based on working with other users.

A user may be applying a filter without realizing it. Filters, like Find can narrow down the Summary List. Here's how you can tell:

When you're in a summary list view, if you click on any of the column headers, the list will be sorted. If you click on any blue text within the list, it will be filtered based on the information you clicked on. You might also go to a Project through a different module such as from the customers record in the Customer module >> projects tab and go to a project from there. This may also create a filtered list.

To ensure that a user hasn't filtered the projects, before you go to the summary list view, look at the bottom of the projects screen and confirm the Found Set and the Total are the same.
